In my defense and you all can ask my mom. I've always loved this made up big lips, Angelina Jolie type and those like you know they've been done. Luckily I do have nice sized lips and pretty ones, I like them to be honest. But sometimes I daydream of having this huge made up lips like Kylie Jenner does. Honestly I would do it, but what if something goes wrong and I loose my nice lips and then I don't have the lips I want? Thanks to that I stumble across this lip plumper by soap and glory. And here is what I have to tell you.
My experience with a lip plumper
5:00pm : Bought the lip plumper at Duane Reade for 14,99 or something like that.
5:10pm: Time to try it out! I applied it as a normal gloss, it was nice because it wasn't sticky (something that I hate about lip glosses)
5:11pm: On my way home, walking to the subway.. suddenly I feel my lips tickling.
5:12pm: Tickling a lot. Is this normal? Well, it has to be so my lips should look bigger now (I was thinking omg I have huge big lips right now lol).
5:15pm: The sensation is insane, I wanted to laugh all the time and it actually hurts (very extremely little) but I liked the feeling, all of a sudden I feel like I have Kylie Jenner lips... I don't have a mirror and I am on the subway.. was this a bad idea?
5:20pm: The tickling is unreal lol, I pull out my phone to see how big my lips are right now. I see myself on the camera expecting Angelina Jolie's lips and to my surprise I just see my normal lips with gloss.
So? Not worth it. I tried it 2 times that day and the next day and the feeling is cool, is fun I liked it but it doesn't actually do anything. If you want a little push on your confidence level go and try it because you honestly will feel you have the biggest lips on earth but they don't even swollen a tiny bit. I returned the product since I am not the biggest fun of lipgloss and al though the tickling is fun, after 10 minutes it bothers quite a lot.
